What will the weather be like?

Late November is the start of the dry season in El Salvador, so
you can expect warm and mostly sunny days with only a small
chance of rain. In San Salvador, daytime temperatures are
typically in the low 80s°F (around 28°C), with cooler evenings
in the upper 60s°F (around 20°C).
Our wedding and reception will be held in the afternoon and
evening high up on the San Salvador Volcano. Because of the
elevation, it will feel noticeably cooler—usually in the 60s°F
(15–20°C) during the day and possibly dipping into the 50s°F
(10–15°C) in the evening. We recommend bringing a light jacket
or sweater for comfort once the sun goes down.
If you plan to visit the beach (like La Libertad or El Tunco),
expect hotter temperatures, with highs in the upper 80s to low
90s°F (30–33°C) and plenty of sunshine.

What should I wear?

Semi-formal attire is requested. The ceremony will take place inside a church. The reception will be held in an open space with a roof but no air conditioning, and the floor is polished concrete. We politely request guests not to wear white, ivory, or off-white.

Transportation will be provided between the hotel and the ceremony, from the ceremony to the reception, and from the reception back to the hotel, for our guests traveling from the U.S. Full details and schedules will be shared with guests before the wedding date.

Any detectable amount of alcohol in a driver's system is considered a criminal offense. Please plan your transportation accordingly if you intend to drink.

What happens if I don't RSVP in time?

If we do not receive your RSVP by , you will be marked as not attending. We will miss you celebrating with us, however we must provide total guest counts to the venue and vendors in a timely manner and therefore we cannot accept late RSVPs. We hope that you understand!
